Laura Ketting moves through Rotterdam under the name Experimental Details, but what she really works with is letters, and everything they can become. Trained as a graphic designer, she learned that typography is supposed to communicate a message. She took that rule and flipped it. In her world, letters aren’t just read, they’re experienced. They stretch, break, distort, collide and rebuild themselves into new forms. Mistakes aren’t problems, they’re material. Control is optional; experimentation leads the way. Her work moves freely across mediums: wall paintings, posters, custom typefaces, digital tools, installations and exhibitions. Anywhere a letter can exist becomes a playground. Because for Laura, typography isn’t a fixed system, it’s an endless investigation driven by curiosity and creation. And the mission is simple: keep exploring what letters can become, and keep pushing them into the world in ways people don’t expect.
